I'm using the "mail users" and choosing "logged-in" users. I have almost 9400 users and it always times out before it comes back with it being completed. (typical IE error page appears:
The page cannot be displayed
Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer)
I've tried setting the backend config as "mail" and "smtp". Single emails send OK, but I can't find anyway to send out a message to everyone.
Is there anything I can do to get my messages out?

You're probably running into time or memory limits imposed by your hosting service.
Geeklog isn't really made for mass emailing. The same problem also exists with the Daily Digest, for example. If you want to send emails to a huge number of people, you will have to use a tool that is more suited for the task.
bye, Dirk
