'Points' for posting

Hey, i have a tutorial site, and i wish to give 'points' to users for their approved submissions. Is there a plugin that does this? My goal is to award prizes to the person / people who post the most useful articles via a new database table with their 'points' per post... like if they post and it gets approved, they are awarded 5 points, then readers can use some sort of 'was this article userful' button to give another point (or fraction of)... then prizes can be awarded or something... anyone done anything like this? or know of a plugin or anything?

thanks!

There's an older "ratings" hack, but I'm not sure if it still works with the current Geeklog release. Even if it doesn't, it may be a start ...

bye, Dirk

TRYING to install it, everythings great, except i cant find the line:
if($index=='n')

in the lib-common.php to paste some code from the rating hack...
how can i use lib-custom.php for this?
