MySQL error with blocks, no error without blocks

After trying to installing a php block i got this error:

do 15 sep 11:00:07 2005 - 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'LIMIT 0,' at line 1. SQL in question: SELECT lid,url,title FROM wsp_links WHERE category = '' ORDER BY LIMIT 0,


It was the GL Links block from Squatty.com which lists the link categories in a block.

This did not work out very well...I deleted the code from lib-custom again, disabled and deleted the new block with PHPMyAdmin and still got the error after logging in.

I set my privileges to 'no block's with PHPMyAdmin and now i am able to log in, but I would like to see the blocks again, if I switch them on I stll get the error...help!

Sounds like that block's code is still executed. At least the SQL request you quoted isn't one used in Geeklog. Double-check your lib-custom.php

I double checked my lib-custom.php, and it is OK, I uploaded a backup from the file.

But I just found a (very lucky) way to solve it: I made a second root account, logged in with another browser with that second root account, disabled the Root and Block Admin privileges from the original Root user, enabled the blocks for the original Root user, enabled the Root and Block Admin privileges again and it's OK...

Must be my lucky day I guess...
