I am having problems with Autolinks for example:

[s_t_o_r_y:14 - Nene scores a P50M lobby fund for Cha-cha] Previous Article]


is only translating to /path/article.php/14

All our article stories take the form - some even have [Feature] or [Obituary] after the hyphen.

I tried a test article like:

[s_t_o_r_y:Nene scores a P50M lobby fund for Cha-cha] Previous Article]

Would I be correct in thinking the parser cannot cope with my strange form of titles.

Are you trying to refer to stories by their title? Use the story ID instead.

I assumed email-bug related to the story title so seems I have to use

story;20050914224314959 Read previous article

,,,because i have allready 7000 articles and its hard to change them manually.

You can try in configuration > Site > Enable URL Rewrite

I'm afraid not. You would have to write a little PHP script for that (which would also have to handle special characters - story IDs can't contain spaces, for example, and it's not a good idea to have special characters in URLs).
