instead of making geeklog www.mysite.net/geeklog how to i make it so geeklog appears right when someone types www.mysite.net

assuming your site is on a linux server.
Put everything in the Geeklog_install/public_html directory into your sites /public_html directory.
Everything else will go in your root directory. The directory with the / (slash) which is the top level of your file structure.
In other words, move all your files up a level and delete the "Geeklog" directory on the server.
