Here is the problem i am having. Most of my events start at 9pm and end at 2am the next day, being club events. If, when creating a date, you put in the correct start and end time on the homepage it shows that the event goes thru both days ie; "Friday - 16-sep - Saturday 17-sep" Is there anyway that i can still keep the end times when the event is displayed form the calendar but NOT have the end date shown on the main page?

Try this and it should work.
Open public_html/calender_event.php in text editor.
Do a search for the phrase "event_end" and delete every line that contains the phrase.
Make sure to make a backup of the file first.
Worked for me.
