Hi,
I'm trying to install the ClearBlue theme.
I uploaded ClearBlue.tar to my public directory and uncompressed it there forming the new directory ClearBlue.
Then I changed config file so it now reads,
$_CONF['theme'] = 'ClearBlue';
The README file with this theme tells me to
I don't know what that means. Is that something I do in my FTP File manager or on my geeklog site itself.
The GL site I'm working on is here
A few months ago I managed to get gameserver working on a different gl site but I don't know why I can't do it now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Shane

Log into your site. From the "User functions" block, select "Preferences". On that page, there's a "Theme" drop-down (unless you disabled it in config.php), from which you can now select the ClearBlue theme.
All that assuming you're using more than one theme on your site. See the FAQ for details: How do I change the default theme?
bye, Dirk

I not sure if it's important or not but my public directory is in the top directory I'm allow go to. (I'm not on my own server, I'm with a hosting company)
Now I can't get back in to site.
Config.php is now set like so
I don't know how to proceed

The theme has to be updated to work with the current Geeklog release. I assumed you were aware of that or got it from geekdownloads.net who claim to have an updated theme for download there ...
The FAQ entry also explains what to do when you end up with a non-working theme. Just make sure you have only one active $_CONF['theme'] line in your config.php and that it contains the name of a working theme.
bye, Dirk

As you suggested I downloaded the most up to date version of ClearBlue from http://www.geekdownloads.net and it works perfectly. I never knew that site existed, it's great.
I'm so happy!
Geeklog absolutely brilliant I just love it!
Thanks,
Shane
