I have seen on other phpbb forums where the author of a posts avatar is larger than the 75x75 pixel limit.
Can anyone tell me how to modify my forums to allow for a larger avatar? I would like to increase up to 125x125 or so.
appreciate your input. I have been visiting this site for several weeks now and your advice and instructions have been invaluable!!
thanks,
Hatric

You'll need to edit the topic.html file to remove the fixed sizing of avatars.
The file is located at
/path/to/geeklog/public_html/layout/professional/forum/layout/topic.thtml
(replace professional with your custom theme name if you are using a custom theme)
Find the line:
<!-- Add a fixed width and/or height for your avatar images. Will only show if member avatar present -->
{avatar_begin} width="75" height="75" {avatar_end}<br>
Modify the image settings as necessary to meet your forum needs. You can remove both the height and width settings and the avatar will display at full size, or you can set one or the other (height or width) and the image will be proportionately resized.
HTH,
Jodi
