We all know how annoying it can be when after writing a long PHP script, we test drive it only to get a big blank page because it turns out we forgot one ")", etc...

But the only reason we even know that is our trusy server log. Alas, Static Pages hides the errors. When I have a big script, I have no idea what went wrong!

My error log just shows something like:
[Sat Oct 8 20:13:01 2005] [error] PHP Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /staticpages/index.php(59) : eval()'d code on line 227
Sure, I can test drive my PHP script via an external file, but it's more comfortable to use the Static Pages and skip the whole everlasting FTP connection and having to upload... Wink

So what I want is the same error messages I get from running actual PHP files. Can this be done?
