Content Syndication Error - Live Bookmark Feed Failed to Load

Hello!
I have been fooling with the Content Syndication part of my blog. Every time I try to create a live feed when I add it to Firefox as a live bookmark, all that shows up when I put the cursor over the bookmark is " Live Bookmark Feed Failed to Load"
I have looked high and low at the forums for answers, I've set the "backend" folder file permission to 777 and set up the config file but still no luck.
Maybe someone could help point a noob in the right direction. Banging your head
PS: The site is Fuzzy Logic News Blog
This is my first attempt at a blog so any suggestions are welcome!

According to your header, there should be a feed file at http://www.fuzzylogicnewsblog.com/backend/fuzzy.rdf, which is what Firefox then tries to load. But he (and I) gets a 404 Not Found for that URL ...

So did you create a new feed file "fuzzy.rdf" in the Content Syndication panel? Does it exist on your webspace?

I see there's a geeklog.rdf there, but it appears to be out of date ...

bye, Dirk

Thanks for your answer Dirk. I did something dumb Banging your head while renaming some files and accidently left the file extension (.rdf) off of the feed file!
Thanks again for a great resource!

I'm also getting "Live bookmark feed failed to load".
I've put the code into header.thtml so that the little icon shows up in Firefox. I can click on that and add the feed to my bookmarks toolbar. But when I click on the link I get the error that it failed to load.

The file is there and I can bring it up in the browser by typing in the address:

http://www.summitmediapartners.com/backend/smpllc.rss

I've tried changing the file extension from rss to rdf (since most of the examples in Geeklog have the .rdf extension) but this did not fix it.

Is my rss file formatted wrong? I just gets created automatically by geeklog, and I don't think I've customized it. I have used other RSS readers (like the aggregator on sugarcmr) to view it and it worked.

I'm stumped.

You need to use tags in all your items. Use your website for the url if you don't have individual post pages.

You need to use
tags in all your items. Use your website for the url if you don't have individual post pages.

That's not the only answer. If you have a problem in your feed with a character such as an ampersand, curly quote, french accents, etc., it will also fail. The characters must be encoded - some with their numerical encodings. I had this problem when I tried to use an accent on an e. I had encoded it with é, but it didn't work. I had to use é

If that problem still exists with Geeklog 1.4.1, then please submit a bug report.
