Poll section in my site has bug/failure..help please!
I was trying to create a new poll yesterday and firstly it "was done fine",but I made a small ortographic mistake and wanted to fix it,so when I tried to edit the poll (after I had given my vote too),it got closed, I thought I had done a mistake and again I tried fixing it but never could,I had to delete my poll and tried to do a new one again, after lots of attempts and all times failing(even today),I gave up on it and well the bug or failure even has affected the older polls.
What can I do?, is someone having the same trouble or has ever had it?,is there a fixing for the bug or maybe a plug?
Thanks

Well, you wrote that you voted and that the poll "got closed" (whatever you mean by that), so I wanted to remind you how the polls work, i.e. that you can't vote again on a poll for a while.
If that doesn't explain the effects you were seeing, then please give more details of what exactly happened.
bye, Dirk

hi salima...
have sent you an e-mail.
btw, what does 'comments' means in polls (near results)?
how you generate them?

Obviously, it lets you post comments on polls. Check out the polls here on geeklog.net.
And there's a nice big "Reply" button there ...

I assume you're referring to the block title. If so, change it from the Admin's Block editor.

Hi Papafrita! (LOL your name is so cool,in english it means Fried potato)
Sorry I didn't answer earlier but I wasn't at home.
Comments in polls are like opinions,I mean someone votes for an option and adds an opinion, there is a drop down thing for making the Comments for polls enabled.

I did what was suggested for fixing the poll and didn't work!, whenever I try making a poll it appears closed

Basically, the poll looks as when the final results are shown when a poll has been closed (due to end availability of time for it).
I know (my brother told me too), that a router we installed a few weeks ago must be the reason for "Ip problems",though I did what dirk told and didn't work (my brother told me to do it too).
Besides that, the only file I edited was a month ago when I installed the geeklog plug for quotes, but I dont think that is creating the problem. (just worried), I mean I know polls aren't so important but I like that all features work, otherwise is not nice having them .
