I notice that in the admin function, I lost the "statice page" link, therefor I cannot create any static page or edit older ones.
Is this something that we can get back.

Check under "Plugins" if the plugin is still there and installed.

Check the groups your user is in and see if "Static Page Admin" is still checked.

I check the plug in, I think what I did is sort of create a new static page menu. now the old static pages just disappear, is there a way I can recover the old ones?

Not sure what you mean by this.

If you deleted the static pages or the entire plugin, then the pages are gone. Unless you have a backup of your database from before you deleted them.
