Sent my site again to google after making the necessary amendments and including the .html extension on my articles and am happy to say google news will be including our articles now.

Here is the message i received from google news

Thank you for your reply. We have reviewed again your site and will be
including it in Google News in the near future. You should be able to find
your articles in Google News within a few weeks.
