Getting the right Adsense Ads

Hey All!

I'm currently running Adsense ad on my website EastMeetsMidwest and the site is a portal for business and fashion.

However, if you visit you may notice that I get ads ranging from Copyrights to RSS feeds. I don't get it. Could someone please point me in a direction to understand where Adsense finds information about my site, so I can get some ads up for either fashon or business schools or something relevant.

Currently I have 3 adsense codes, one in the footer.thml, header.thtml, and one in a block on the left.

Thanks for any help!

The Adsense spider will spider your site only if you have enough visitors. It might take a few days/weeks at the beginning. You can use 'Section Targeting' to be sure that the Adsense spider only spiders your topics menu and content, and not the links to Calendar, Search, RSS feed etc. That also might take 10 days before it works fine.

Why don't you have a look at the Adsense forums at Digital Point over here.
