Firstly let me apologise for the multiple postings. The text i put in was not showing up. I would like to remove the header links from the index page e.g contact , forum, gallery etc but have only got as far as this line in header.html "
I have created a new link block for these links and would prefer to use just that. My site is here
Any help would be much appreciated.

Please let me add that i am not in any way a programmer so be kind. I am learning.

You could disable them in config.php, just in case you change your mind
here
$_CONF['menu_elements'] = array

however you're using a modified older theme therefore just get rid off, from header.thtml, the following:

{button_advsearch}
{button_contact}
{plg_menu_elements}

That should do

Hi Robin
Thanks for the quick reply. It worked a treat. Can i push my luck and ask another question. I have a link called site index which is a static page. I could not get it to display in the static page frame so had to put in a redirect to a full page. Is there a way i can get the site index static page to display in a frame like the change log link.
