the poll is now a plugin.
you can administer the poll from your admin menu--click on "polls"
any further setting for this plugin, if any, can be found in its config.php file located typically at: geeklog/plugins/polls/config.php

I only see spamx and staticpages under plugins directory.
So I guess I need to download some new plugin for polls?
The default poll installation does not seem to work - comments are broken and icons dissappear around the poll text area (there are no longer any buttons for voting)
I am running the current version 1.3.11sr3

Then you're in the wrong thread. Polls are a plugin in 1.4 and built-in in earlier versions (including 1.3.11sr3).
Also see my response to your other post ...
bye, Dirk
