I am trying to upgrade from 1.3.9sr1 -> 1.3.11sr3
1st screen, type in path for geeklog
2nd screen select 1.3.9 as the current database.
click on the NEXT button, and come this error:
1054: Unknown column 'pi_gl_version' in 'field list'
I restored the database and ran another install.
Exact same error.
Please let me know what I missed.
Thanks
John
Geeklog Database Settings (Step 2 of 2)
Now we are ready to add the necessary data structures to your Geeklog database. If you are upgrading, please be sure to select the current version of your Geeklog database below. If this is a new installation, just hit the 'Next' button. We hope that at this point you have already backed-up your existing database (if you have one). If you haven't then do so before clicking the 'Next' button below. You've been warned.
Current Geeklog Version: 1.2.5-11.31.3.11.3.21.3.2-11.3.31.3.41.3.51.3.61.3.71.3.81.3.91.3.10

What do you have for $_DB_table_prefix in your config.php and what is the actual table prefix in your existing database?
bye, Dirk

Whoops, sorry, I was on the wrong track there ...
pi_gl_version is a field in the plugins table (babe_plugins, in your case) and has existed in all 1.3 versions of Geeklog.
Something's gone wrong there somewhere. Can you check that you have a plugins table and that it contains the fields pi_name, pi_version, pi_gl_version, pi_enabled, and pi_homepage.
bye, Dirk

Thanks Dirk,
I install a fresh version of 1.3.11sr3, then copy the database tables over. :-) It is working now. Don't know why it won't upgrade.
Thanks.
