Is it possible to have "remote authentication" as addon ,or whatever for GL Geeklog 1.3.11sr1,

I know about security updates etc, but sr1 has been adjusted to suit my needs, and I feel you are never secure thruout your life, and sr1 works really fast for me too - only thing missing is the 'remote authentication' stuff.

Can it be somehow added to 11sr series, please ?

Sure, it can be done: It's all open source after all, so you "only" have to figure out all the changes in all the files and the database and apply them to your 1.3.11 install.

Of course, it would be an enormous amount of work and, IMHO, simply not worth the effort. Try asking Mike for an estimate of the amount of work that went into that feature, then multiply that by two ...
