Can some one please help me figure out mediaGallery 0.92b under GL 1.3.11sr2?
I ran into problems with some kind of upload limit after four files it seemed, uploading through the mediagallery. Now I'm trying to upload via FTP. I created a temp directory under my public_html and used SmartFTP to place the photos in it. Now I'm trying to point MediaGallery there in the FTP screen and nothing happens. I use http://www.domain.com/mediagallery/temp. The screen goes back to the album view, but I have no pictures. Alternately, if I try /public_html/mediagallery/temp I get "directory does not exist"
Thanks

Warren,
You need to enter the absolute path to the temporary directory. This is the full path on your web server. If you look in your Geeklog config.php file, you'll see the entry for $_CONF['path'], this is the absolute path to your Geeklog installation. Just add on '/public_html/temp/' to this path and that should get you going.
Let me know if doesn't work for you.
Thanks!
Mark

I'll give it a try.... I did solve the problem of posting by installing the new 0.96b upgrade and utilizing the XP Web Publishing Wizard. Now that's pretty nice.... Worked like a charm.
I'll try out the absolute path too.
thanks and happy holidays
