Converting over from MediaWiki ..

Anyone hear of any development work going on of converting from MediaWiki to static pages + geeklog? I'd like to convert my non-profits' site over, but it'd be too crazy to do manually. I suppose I could write a tool, but I'd like to see if it's been done first and searching came up with nothign ..

MediaWiki (the software that runs Wikipedia) stores its contents in a MySQL database. It also has an XML export option. So it should definitively be possible to write an import script for Geeklog based on one of those.
