Well as the subject states i can connect to my web page with the links working locally but people that connect to it as soon as they click on any of the links on the right (including log in) it comes up page can not be displayed. Also the pictures don't load for remote people either even though i got my server setup to allow download of all file types and shared access to where all the pics are.

I am not sure if this is something via the server I am using or if it is something i done wrong via installing geeklog.

Please help.

Sounds like whatever you have entered for $_CONF['site_url'] isn't accessible from the outside.

bye, Dirk

I am confused about that.

All of the install guides i could find only talked about setting it up for a remote webserver.

What should i put for $_CONF['site_url']=(loopback address, my wan ip(goes to router config unless cancel password dialogue, eventually gets to sight or directory on my computer where the index.php resides)

Usually, it would be an address that's both reachable from the inside and the outside, e.g. your domain name.

If you don't have that you could try leaving it empty, i.e.

$_CONF['site_url'] = '';

bye, Dirk
