Any ideas? I installed geeklog via Fantastico and i dont think i have access to this directory /usr/bin/mysqldump

There was an error.
Incorrect path or mysqldump utility not executable.
Check $_DB_mysqldump_path definition in config.php.
Variable currently defined as: /usr/bin/mysqldump

As the error message says: There either is no mysqldump in that directory or you're not allowed to run it.

Ask your hosting service for the correct path.

As you can see by this post I have the same issue which I still have not found a resolve to. I run an in-house server with two GL sites already online and working (with DB backups), when I installed a third site as a test (GL 1.3.11sr3) I got the error with the database backup, it works witht the two other sites and I have had my IT guy look at the sites configuration in comparison the other two and he has no idea why this has accured.

I am still trying to rectify it. All functions of the site work other than this. All config settings are correct and were checked by my IT guy whom also set up the server and maintains it. He set up the other two sites but can't account for this errors occurance.

I wish I could of been of help but if I work anything out I will let you know.
