I read that you think about working with an IP list to prevent multiple votings.
And my this will also prevent a few network users who's share public ip addresses (with a router or whatever) with each other.
Yes I am mental.

I've changed the $sid to $uid and 'stories' to 'username' but it's not working.
I basically want people to be able to rate a USER, kinda like a Kudos system.....
Cheers!

The next version of the rating plugin is currently feature complete and is under going final testing. No User ratings but it may not be too hard to add in a later release. A Kudos system also has negative ratings which currently is not supported by the rating plugin
Where were you planning on adding the rating for users? on the User Profile Page?

No that will not work.

Yes indeed! My site is a sort of 'pay it forward' kinda idea, but within a company. When a colleague does a favour for another, I'd like the latter to be able to offer kudos points to the former. The more kudos points one has (or the higher the rating, as the case may be), the more respected that user is and the more likely others are to do favours in return,....
Catch ma drift?!

I added the feature. It was only a few small change to include this functionality for rating a user. The only thing is, it can only be used by added a small function call to one of the core geeklog files (same idea as story ratings) since plugins do not have access to the user profile page.
I'm hoping to release the new version of the rating plugin sometime next week.

Laugh, good man! Sounds like exactly what I'm after! I can't wait.....
