Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to block users form registering with free email accounts such as Hotmail and yahoo? I have some security concerns and would like to hear some feedback from anyone who has ideas on keeping creeps out of a site that may contain sensative material involving parents and children.

Any creative ideas out thereon how to make a sight as safe as possible.?
Also I am using the PHPBB forum bridge. THe registration proccess uses Geeklogs and not PHPBB's. Is there a way to enable the COPA registratiion form that comes with PHPBB? OR is there a simialr form for Geeklog that parents might need to fill out for minors wnating to join in on a forum.

Any thoughts on this subject would be welcome.

Jordy

My simple thought of that is.... I am using the (payed) advanced service of a freemailer as my main mail account, so....
Am I a bad boy now? Must I be locked out from your site?
I understand your idea, but I think the way you want to go is too restrictive.

Just my two cents

With one specific forum they wanted everybody to write to the admin the full name and purpose of the membership. This was not discussed nor published but they just deterred people who did not want to identify to the admin.
