Is there a recommended way to upgrade from 1.3 to 1.4(rc2) if you are using plugins, like forum or filemgmt? Should disable them, or uninstall? Some plugins are not a big deal to uninstall and re-install, but others, like forum have a lot of data. Any recs?
Thanks in advance...

the plugins you named are not part of the core geeklog install. So you can safely upgrade without disabling or removing them. As always, make a full database backup before any upgrade.
Also, for added security, it is recommended that you remove your geeklog version from the footer.
