I am working pro bono on a site for area veterans. I've made modifications to the CSS file and it shows up satisfactorily in Firefox browser but not in IE.
I've used the following to modify the background for the box title background: background:url(/images/cammobackground.jpg)no-repeat;
The address of the site is:
http://cccv.westchester-times.com/
If anyone can help I'd appreciate it, I've checked the CSS Tutorial website but couldn't find an answer.
Thanks

for theme spacific images, you should put them in you theme/images directory. the url would then be url(images/cammobackground.jpg) no-repeat;
otherwise the path should be pointing to you public_html/images directory ../../images/cammobackground.jpg which is where you have yours.
ff is smart enough to figure this out where as ie is not

I've changed the statement as you've recommended, but still not able to view in IE .... Is there another syntax that will trigger IE to look in the given directories?
Thanks,
Lee

After much trial and error I've got the correct syntax for IE to pickup the background statement... as follows:
background-image: url(/images/cammo.jpg);
Thanks!
background-image: url(/images/cammo.jpg);
Thanks!
