I have a cool hack that I hope is added to the main geeklog distribution.
The hack provides Trackback Validation code provided on my site.

The code has been partially revised since it was posted on geeklog-spam.

Thank you - I've noticed a lot of trackbacks on my site refering to porn, gambling or other such nefarious and un-post-related activities.

I updated the post above, with a downloadable link for the lib-trackback.php file, as the editor messed up my code after I had edited it. Removing escape (slashes) that are needed to make the code work.
