Don't copy your old config.php and lib-common.php over the new ones for Geeklog 1.4.0. You need to 'migrate' your configuration settings to the new files. You need to start with the ones from 1.4.0, edit them to put your settings (database, paths, urls), then do the upgrade.
Good luck!

Look in the header.thtml file for the professional theme, you will see:
{plg_headercode}
{advanced_editor}
Right after the stylesheet line. Copy these to your header.thtml for your theme and that should get your started. Depending on how old your theme is, you may need to copy over the navbar/ directory and also the storyeditor_advanced.thtml from the admin/story/ directories from the professional theme.
I just completed upgrading avp_aeon theme, basically, I just let Geeklog tell me what it couldn't find and started copying those files over from the professional directory.
Don't forget you will also need to grab some of the new CSS out of the style.css, all the navbar stuff needs to go over, as well as, the new plugin css codes.
It takes a bit of time and effort to upgrade a theme for 1.4.0, but it is worth the work.
Good Luck!

Good Luck!

Text Formatted Code
{feed_url}{plg_headercode}
{advanced_editor}
Right after the stylesheet line. Copy these to your header.thtml for your theme and that should get your started. Depending on how old your theme is, you may need to copy over the navbar/ directory and also the storyeditor_advanced.thtml from the admin/story/ directories from the professional theme.

Mark thx i fixed everything
i copied the nav section of css to my theme css
thx
i still have a problem
if i include these 3 lines into header.htm of my axons theme everything is ok and i can post the articles but my header and footer get a padding or border that is white and my banner looks like it floats in the middle of the page
i do not know how to fix that, i want that my banner and footer do not have any padding or border and that they have 100% width, now it looks like they have 96 % width and the rest of it is the white space
can somebody fix that
i doubt axons will fix that because his site is down
