Hi.

I'm writing a privacy policy for my site, and am wondering what happens with the email addresses which are provided when the "mail story to a friend" feature is used.

Geeklog just e-mails a message and uses this address as the "to" header. In other words, it's used in real time when you click submit and not stored anywhere.

There's also a message added to the actual email stating exactly that.
