Hi.

I've searched through the site about using lib-custom.php for new blocks and for the custom registration form. However, I'm wondering specifically about how Geeklog uses the information from lib-custom.php. For example, if I want to modify the code in profiles.php and to store it in lib-custom.php, does GL automatically use what it finds in lib-custom.php? Or do I need to call the function in profiles.php or elsewhere?

The code in lib-custom.php is included automatically so any new functions you add will be known. You will get an error if you create a function of the same name as found in another file but if you were to comment out another function or change it's name slightly then yes, you modifed function would get executed.
