Should all previous blocks continue to work after an upgrade to 1.4.0?

I had installed the "referral" and "Newest Members" blocks... after an upgrade to 1.4.0 I get the following error:

"Error in PHP Block. Function, phpblock_referral, does not exist."

I uninstalled, deleted all referral files, downloaded the files again, edited, uploaded, and created the phpblock_referral - still get the above error.

New Members block doesn't work either in 1.4.0

This is now happening with every new block I try to add in the new GL 1.4.0

I get an error:

"Error in PHP Block. Function, phpblock_whos_new, does not exist."
"Error in PHP Block. Function, phpblock_referral, does not exist."

Help!

You overwrote your lib-custom.php with the copy that came with Geeklog. Use your backup ...

bye, Dirk

Thanks for responding Dirk I appreciate your help.

Shouldn't they work if I completely re did them with the new copy of lib-custom.php?

What I am saying is that after saw that they weren't working anymore... I disabled them, deleted them completely, then reuploaded them, set them up again using the new lib-custom.php, and they will not work now in 1.4.0

I receive the "Error in PHP Block. Function, phpblock_referral, does not exist." message

If you had code iin the lib-custom for the blocks to work, upgrading to 1.4 woulld of overwrote the custom code in lib-custom with a general lib-custom file.

But then after the upgrade... if I uploaded my orginal lib-custom.php file from the directory on my PC - then it should work again?

Because if this is the case... it still doesn't work... whether I upload the new lib-custom.php or my backup copy of the lib-custom.php

Yep.

If it still doesn't work, double-check that you really uploded the correct file to the correct directory and that it's not corrupted.

bye, Dirk
