Gallery photo on frontpage??

Are there any plugins that allow me to show a random photo on the front page of GL from my GALLERY page? I know of GL_Gallery2 Plugin 0.4.2 but I think that just shows links to recent albums correct?

both the Media Gallery and Inmemoriam Media Gallery plugins do what you want.

these are standalone galleries correct? I already use GALLERY and don't want to switch, I was just looking for away to make a random photo show up.

There's a random photo block for Gallery (version 1.x only, I think). Try a search ...
