This is a bit tricky to explain but here it goes.

I recently upgraded from 1.3 to 1.4. And after doing so I'm missing buttons/links. What I'm missing is the links (or buttons) to items like "To create a new story click on new story above." or "To make a new poll click above" and so on.

All I get is the topic icon followed by [ | ]. Then the text for the page I'm on such as "To modify or delete a story, click on that story's number below. To view a story, click on the title of the story you wish to view. To create a new story click on new story above.". The [ | ] has nothing clickable or linked to it either if that helps.

If this type of thing has been answered already. Sorry, I couldn't find it in the forums.

You forgot to either update your theme (try it with the Professional theme that ships with 1.4.0) or you didn't upload the new language files.
