Is there something that I have done wrong?
Thanks in advance

I commented out lines which contained com_numberformat and now i get this sql error (taken from my error.log):
I shouldnt have upgraded my GL to 1.4.0. I am pretty new to this and my site was running fine and bug free before this. i am regretting it already.

You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '::all' at line 1. SQL in question: SELECT sid FROM gl_stories WHERE draft_flag = 0 AND date <= NOW() AND tid = 'geeklog' AND perm_anon > 0 ORDER BY date DESC LIMIT ::all I shouldnt have upgraded my GL to 1.4.0. The actual cause of that parse error may be somewhere before line 72. Check for the usual things like missing semicolons or missing quotes.
The SQL error may be the result of that error in config.php, as it would need a few things defined further down in config.php.
bye, Dirk

So you're using the Journal plugin? The comment API has changed in 1.4.0 and the plugin will have to be updated ...

This is where I really need you're help. How do I update my plugin for the comment API? is there a file I could download or will I have to write my own program or something (which I would probably suck at doing cuz i know next to nothing bout coding).
SO is there a guide or something for me to do this? I just want the journal comments to be working again.
Bye.

Yup! dont understand much of vinny's article. I do need help. Its pretty funny that GL1.4 has been released and no one has yet written the comment api code for journal. Am I the only one using journal w/ gl 1.4? Anyways I guess I'll just have to wait until someone does that. Till then Imma experiment with the codes and HOPE to get them to work.
Peace,
Z
