Hello All,
I have a question regarding removing the dependency of register_globals in GL plugins.
Since the latest GL is register_globals independent it would be great if the available plugins were also.
What needs to be changed, removed to achieve that? Is it possible to make a list of things that should be changed/removed?
Thank you for your advice

There is no easy answer to this, as it depends heavily on the code of the plugin. It may be a lot of work or it may be easy.
Some plugins apparently work just fine with register_globals = off but only fail to install (since many base their install on the old "universal plugin" that requires register_globals to be on).
bye, Dirk
