can somoen look at my site and tell me is it possible to chenge it to original tempalte geekog has it as default

i want to keep all the banner picture and design (fonts, colors ...)

Your site looks good to me so I don't understand your issue.
I see that you modified a layout (peaceful?) As for the issues with FCK, looks like you're missing {advanced_editor} in the header.thtml.
Add it and see if that helps.

Try putting this after
{plg_headercode} .

Then read here about layout changes in 1.4.0. In order to make a full advantage of Geeklog i.e . FCK etc. you have to make sure the layout you're using is up to date.

Happy updating Mr. Green

Adding a theme variable can't be the reason and I have no idea what you've done see point 1.

When you introduce any changes do it step by step and check the result before going any further. This way you can always roll back and save yoursefl a lot of frustration Very Happy

To use the included advanced editor (FCKeditor) you will need the following new template files:

* comment/commentform_advanced.thtml (for comments)
* submit/submitstory_advanced.thtml (for story submissions)
* admin/story/storyeditor_advanced.thtml (Admin's story editor)
* staticpages/templates/admin/editor_advanced.thtml (for the Static Pages editor, located in /path/to/geeklog/plugins)
* advanced_editor_header.thtml (included by all of the above)

You also have to add {advanced_editor} to the section of your theme's header.thtml file.

this is what i have done

also i mean there is a padding around banner and footer - the white border like 5 px wide and this is the result if i set the advanced editor in confog file to true

if i change it back to false the border dissapears

The problem might be with the new templates which as I presume you copied from professional layout.
What I would suggest is that you make the missing templates using the templates from your theme. A little time consuming but if you want to get rid of the whitespace this is the only way.
So all you have to do is to copy
commentform.thtml (in your peaceful dir) into commentform_advanced.thtml.
Then you add all required javascript (see in commentform_advanced.thtml under professional dir) repeat the steps for other files.

I think the white border around the entire page is caused by FCKeditor. You have to explicitly set the padding and margin for the site body to 0 to get rid of this. See the Professional theme's header.thtml and style.css (search for "sitebody").

bye, Dirk

i put this code in my css body tag

color: #444444;
font-family: "Lucida Grande", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
padding:0px;
margin:0px;
background-color: #FFFFFF;

you see the padding and the margin is 0 and it is still giving me white border
