Groups and permissions are no longer working with my installation. I have been experiencing the problems since upgrading to 1.4 but can not say for certain that that was the moment the issue was introduced. My root admin account still works as expected, but all other accounts with varying degrees of permissions do not. No other accounts can edit anything. They can add and approve stories but cannot edit even their own. Has anyone experienced this before or does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

Never mind. I figured it out. I searched before posting but didn't find the already existing articles on the same subject until afterwards. Sorry for the duplicate. For others with the same problem. They issue is: (1) user belonging to the group that that topic is set to and it having group-edit permissions, (2) the user beloging to the Story Admin group (or a group that inherits the Story Admin privileges), and (3) the story being set to this group and it having group-edit permissions.
