Greetings,

I had a couple of users register on one of my GL sites and the confirmation e-mails generated by GL bounced, therefore I assume it was an attempt to drop some comment spam on my site. I went to admin-->users, clicked on the edit icon on the particular users and hit "delete". Nada, I just got the same page back telling me the password doesn't match the GL registration generated password.

How does one delete a GL user? I ended up purging them out of the user tables in the database.

By hitting the "Delete" button in the user editor, just as you did (or tried ...).

Are you using the Professional theme? If not, make sure your theme has been updated.



Don't do that. You'll end up with orphaned records all over the place.

Yeah, I know purging them via sql isn't the ideal way. They left no comments or other records of being on the site.

The theme is a custom one hacked from the professional theme off of the 1.4.0sr1 release.
