I've got a Geeklog site that's getting a ton of traffic (peak traffic is 1000+ sessions per hour, 150+ concurrent users). With an increase in traffic I see a significant increase in the time to create a page (and am seeing fairly high CPU usage.) While I'm planning on purchasing a new server here shortly I'm wondering what can be done in the mean time to decrease the amount of time it takes to create a page. MySQL is currently set to a 20MB cache and and never fills the cache (the db back is just above 2M. Or, is this a limitation of Geeklog that I'll have to work with?
