Fatal error: Call to undefined function: _searchlinks() in /home/seattlew/public_html/site/mycal/calsearch.php on line 15

I installed this block according to the directions, it shows up on the site, but clicking the dates produces the error above. Here's the section that contains _searchlinks()

// Do searches
$this->story_results = $this->_searchStories();
$this->comment_results = $this->_searchComments();
$this->link_results = $this->_searchLinks();
$this->event_results = $this->_searchEvents();

Does anyone know what's wrong here and how to fix it?

I am using the new 1.4 download.

Yep - go the source for your portalparts - I updated a new version on my site yesterday - get it here.
