links from web resources making round trip

all my links in my 'web resources' make a round trip back to my home page??!

this is what appears for a moment in the address bar before reverting back to the root:

yes that link exists as does a few hundred more...all the links are behaving the same way.

i checked the db and all seems fine - i assume this is something in my lib_common or portal.php files???

resolved by copying over a new portal.php file...

not sure what happened to the old - it was there and seemed intact but??

regardless - issue resolved - thanks.
