Hide "comment (0)"

It seems to me that this question has be asked before, but I couldn't find it through search.

Is there a way to hide the "Comments (0)" phrase when there is no comments, and let the link show up only when there are comments?

Other than using a text that does not include the comment count - no. Yes, I saw your feature request. Shouldn't be too hard to add a variable for that.
