I have a situation I am hopeful someone else has done and can help..
I need to add a menulink to a staticpage that is an IFRAME of a form on another site.
The information of the form will be filled out the same by each user. Each time.
Is there a way for force in the link, via script, or otherwise, all the fields prefilled and the submit button clicked, to avoid the user having to hunt and poke through their options?
For example, their form asks "COUNTY" "STATE" and has "SUBMIT"
On my end, I need to be able to have a code or script to fill COUNTY in with KENOSHA and State with WI and the submit hit all at once.
POSSIBLE! ??
It'll be useful for a lot of uses for pulling selected searches in for your users! Mine is for homes available in the area..

Worked all weekend with javascripts, with spoofing. and a million tricks, and I can't believe no one has ever had the need to do this. to harvest data in this way.
Well, I have till morning to figure it out or drop dead on one account. If I find the solution, I'll post it and I'll post the example where its used.

Why don't you just load the results page in the iframe?

It's not totaly clear what you are trying to do, but the easiest way for me to do this would be by using php.
You create a static page that contains a from that uses the post or get method on the same page that it would when it was on the original page. For the site where the info is going to it doesn't matter where it comes from and it would just do what it always did. (You can get the form code by viewing the source of the webpage, make sure you get the names right and maybe the hidden fields)
To make this you'll have to create somesort of plugin or advanced hack that uses the database.
You can even show all the posts as hidden or just let the script post them for you.
