Frustated again

I've been going through a rather messy upgrade on a site that was set up incorrectly and error messages keep popping up. I've dealt with a couple of dozen I think and I still can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. The latest one says:

Text Formatted Code
Fatal error: Class 'Template' not found in
/mnt/web_h/d09/s33/b01f8ecf/www/public_html/lib-common.php
on line 1268

That line it's referring to has the following code:

Text Formatted Code
    $block = new Template( $_CONF['path_layout'] );

Template not found? Why? How? Why?

I'm pretty sure config.php and lib-common.php have the correct path layouts and point to all the right addresses. This can't be, shouldn't be related to path configuration settings, right?

Is the professional theme still located in the layout directory?

What is your exact error message?

To resolve these multiple issues, I downloaded a complete copy of website/database and then uploaded all files from the latest version of geeklog, current version of 1.8.1, into their proper places and ran the install script/upgrade to fix their issues. Website now works.
