Moved to new server, site stopped working.

My GL site was on a server that was lagging badly, so the hosting company moved the site to a new server. The database is there, all files are as they were, but I get this error:

Warning: main(/home/blah3com/public_html/system/classes/timer.class.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/blah3com/public_html/lib-common.php on line 163

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/blah3com/public_html/system/classes/timer.class.php' (include_path='/home/blah3com/public_html/system/pear/:.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/blah3com/public_html/lib-common.php on line 163


Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure the files and directories are readable by the webserver.

Went through and set all perms on file and directories, as per the GL Installation docs.

Still no luck. Could it be a server setting that I'm unaware of?

You said all the files are there, but the path

/home/blah3com/public_html/system/...

looks odd - are you sure that's correct? The system directory shouldn't be in your public_html directory.

The 'system' folder is in the root directory of the site (I set up GL in the root directory) - which as a matter of coincidence, names their public_html directory 'public_html' as well.

It was working while set up that way prior to the move.

Update: deleted the class files and re-loaded them, and now I'm getting the 'cannot connect to database' error - that one, I think I can fix. Smile
