My GL site was on a server that was lagging badly, so the hosting company moved the site to a new server. The database is there, all files are as they were, but I get this error:
Any help would be appreciated.

You said all the files are there, but the path
/home/blah3com/public_html/system/...
looks odd - are you sure that's correct? The system directory shouldn't be in your public_html directory.
bye, Dirk

The 'system' folder is in the root directory of the site (I set up GL in the root directory) - which as a matter of coincidence, names their public_html directory 'public_html' as well.
It was working while set up that way prior to the move.

Update: deleted the class files and re-loaded them, and now I'm getting the 'cannot connect to database' error - that one, I think I can fix.
Update 2: I'm back! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Dirk. As always, you rock.
You really do end up learning stuff by hanging around here. Thanks again!
