I was charged with reinventing our internal support site. They gave me a list of improvements wanted and Geeklog fit the bill very well. I've got the new site running under GL, everything looks good and I'm happy with it. I've installed the forum plugin. My problem is that we have a huge number of technical articles that were written and then stored in individual static pages. I would like to import those in to the forum, but I don't see any way of doing it short of copying the information from the html files and pasting it in to message posts on the forum.
Does anyone have any idea of what I could do? I thought about moving all of the old documents over and then creating a static page inside GL that would stand in for the old search page. But if it found a document and opened it up, would it still fall within the centerblocks of GL? Would I have to import each of those static pages into GL first? If so, would there be a way to massively import 4000 or so static pages?
