I have this problem with media Gallery : everything looks and works fine except when somebody who is not an admin upload a image (image is sent to admin approve queue) If option to inform admin of a new queue for upload by e-mail is activated in galery options, user that tryes to upload picture gets an error message. That is not so big problem becouse that option can be turned off. But the problem is when i as admin try to aprove image that is waiting for upload i cue i get this message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: com_formatemailaddress() in /home/content/b/a/n/banjalukasport/html/geeklog/public_html/mediagallery/lib-admin.php on line 1842

So it is a problem, and does anyone have any idea how to solve it ?

Which version of Geeklog are you running? I'm not sure what version that function was added but that may be the problem.

We can always comment out the call that emails the user that the upload has been approved. Let me know if you want me to send you a replacement lib-admin.php, but if you are running an older Geeklog install, it would be much better to upgrade.

I did a little research, the COM_formatEmailAdress() function showed up in Geeklog v1.3.10 and Media Gallery does require at least version 1.3.10 of Geeklog to run. Your best bet is to upgrade your Geeklog installation.

Well, first of all thanx for so fast reply, it tok me long time to figure out how to install plugins , and how to do some things, but now i think it was worthy. Maybe you could send me this lib-admin.php so i could try to replace it.I also agree that first of all i should try to upgrade my geeklog. My curent version is (1.3.9sr1) and right now i have downloaded newest version, but i dont know how to upgrade my ald version since i would like to keep my setings, text`s gallery and plugins. So is it possible to upgrade that way or i need to do everything from beginning? I will now look in archive of new geeklog that i have downloaded there should be some docs.

Unfortunately, this function is just one of several that will fail if running Media Gallery on an older version of Geeklog. Media Gallery will require at least v1.3.10 before it will work properly. Commenting out or removing that one line will fix that problem, but there will be other areas where MG will fail because it requires some of the new features and functions of the newer Geeklog releases.
