I'm trying to get a line out of my layout that it's right in between the left colum and the right colum. I'm using the professional theme and as a template, I've gone through all the style.css file and just cannot figure out where is the section that would let me take this lane away. Here you can see a screenshot of such line

I'd say that's your background shining through. There is a small gap between the left and the center blocks. So the file you really want to edit is header.thtml.
