Does anyone know of any theme for geeklog which doesn't use nested tables for layout? it *should* I think be possible to set the layout using div and span tags and CSS. It would also generate much neater HTML, and make it easier to modify the theme.

According to the W3C tables should only be used for tabulated data, and CSS for layout, so if i want to make a fully compliant site I want to get rid of the tables

You could start with the Axonz theme, which is more CSS based. You can find it at Geekdownloads.net
