Geeklog won't remember archive topic!

Further to my previous post on archives (under the name GuyDorey), I tried creating an Archive category, then setting my old stories to Auto-Archive in the past. Nothing happened. Upon investigation, it seemed Geeklog wasn't remembering the archive topic. I kept checking the 'Default Archive Topic' box then clicking Save, and Geeklog would tell me the Topic had bene successfully saved - however, when I again went to edit the topic, the Archive checkbox was cleared again!
Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Have discovered that it was something to do with my theme (Smooth Blue). When I changed to Professional and tried it, everything worked fine.
However, I still don't understand how to archive topics. I've changed the auto-archive feature on a couple of stories to past dates, but nothing's happened to them. Any help?

Works for me ... The next time someone calls up the site's index page, they're moved to the archive topic. They should also drop from the front page (archived stories are set to "show only in topic" automatically).
bye, Dirk
